Sweet Victory!
Both Blackie and Norman of the SSNet team completed the 89.23 km Comrades marathon (56 miles) on 30 May 2010. They want to raise R100,000 to contribute in reaching the unreached in Sudan. Please go to our Projects page to read how you can raise R100,000 (about $ US 13,000) for this purpose. We have already received pledges for R14.265 R37,235 (about $ US 4,764)! Praise God! Pledges and contributions are still coming in. Please join in this effort in spreading the Gospel in Sudan
Elections and the 2011 Referendum is on our doorstep.
We praise God for His hand over Sudan during the recent elections in April. Here is comment from a field contact working in Southern Sudan: "Sudan came through the elections more smoothly than was expected, so that's a huge blessing here. Plenty of concerns still, but definitely a positive for now." Thanks also to everybody taht prayed for and during the elections.
